Live Action: Planned Parenthood Mammogram Lies Exposed

The left has been frantically pushing the spin regarding Planned Parenthood and the recent move to stop providing them with federal funding (from we, the taxpayers). Screeching things like “If you defund Planned Parenthood, women will die! They won’t be able to get mammograms. Why do you hate women and their girl bits?”

As many of us know, Planned Parenthood does not, nor have they ever, provided mammograms. That has not stopped them from outright lying about this in an attempt to scare people into giving them money:

“Most prominently, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards recently appeared on The Joy Behar Show to oppose the Pence Amendment to end Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer subsidies, claiming, “If this bill ever becomes law, millions of women in this country are gonna lose their healthcare access–not to abortion services–to basic family planning, you know, mammograms.”

Oh really, Cecile Richards? Care to explain these videos taken by Live Action?

I won’t hold my breath.

NBC: It’s Not News If It Makes GE Look Bad!

Ah, the journalistic integrity of NBC News. News is, of course, used extremely loosely by NBC. If it is something bad about them or their parent company General Electric, no one need know about it. We probably wouldn’t understand the “nuance” anyway, right Brian Williams?

“If people in your audience are savvy enough to raise the question of why you’re covering your own parent company differently than another company,” she said, “then it doesn’t matter what the answer is. You’ve undermined your credibility. The problem for any news organization is death by a thousand daggers.”

Um. I think those thousand daggers have done their job already.

UPDATE: Ed Driscoll makes a very good point about NBC’s outspoken desire for *others* to pay more in taxes.

Every Parent’s Dream Come True: The Perez Hilton Children’s Book

In between posting upskirt shots of underage girls and using MS Paint to doodle dribbles of semen on the chins of celebrities, Perez Hilton somehow found time to write a book. For children.

The Boy with Pink Hair is a defining story about how believing in yourself and following your aspirations can not only bring out the best in you, but also in those around you.  With fun, colorful and endearing characters, Perez reminds readers that by simply accepting our differences we can find the things that unite us all.

Maybe one of those “colorful and endearing characters” can celebrate our differences by calling a woman a “dumb bitch” for speaking her mind. That’s how it’s done, right, Perez?

Olbermann: “Ann God Damned Coulter” and Scott Walker Dream of Fiery Deaths for Workers

Aw. How sweet. Cornell agriculture school grad Keith Olbermann got to speak at the real Cornell.

After plenty of self-important yammering and predictable union cheerleading, he got around to declaring America “a Progressive nation.” But that was just a warm-up for this:

The Triangle Waist Company is alive and well and living in the dreams of the Koch Brothers and Carlos F. Lam and Governor Scott Walker. And Ann God Damned Coulter.

And let us make sure that that is exactly where the Triangle Waste [sic] Company stays.

IN… THEIR… DREAMS!

The Triangle Waist Company fire killed 146 Americans (inflated to 168 in his speech), and the best way Keith can think of to remember those deaths is to screech that “Ann God Damned Coulter” and friends dream of a reprise? Revolting.

Delaware to Kids: No Basketball Hoops For You!

The Nanny State in all its pervasive glory. For The Children ™ — no basketball poles/hoops on private property. I wonder how Michelle Obama feels about this. I mean, it is counter-intuitive to her Let’s Move program, no?

DelDOT removes basketball hoop [Delaware Online News Video]

Also note that the police officer lied right on tape. She clearly told the man that he could keep the pole and that they would lay it down in his driveway. Mere seconds later, that request is refused and she pretends she never *just said* any such thing.

We have one of those at the end of our cul de sac. Just try and pry our kids’ basketball hoopies out of our cold dead hands.

Why the Torture & Murder of Gay Palestinians Doesn’t Matter to LGBT Activists on the Left

Phyllis Chesler shares her thoughts with The Jerusalem Post:

Asked what was driving a segment of the LGBT community to bash Israel, Dr. Phyllis Chesler, a professor emerita of psychology and women’s studies at City University of New York and a leading expert on contemporary anti-Semitism, wrote to the Post that “over the years, the gay liberation movement, world-wide, has become increasingly Stalinized and ‘Palestinianized.’” She said that “to retain their place in the larger Left, feminist and gay movement, they have identified Palestinians as the most victimized of all, and to retain their own value as outcasts and victims, they, too, especially lesbian feminists and lesbian Jewish feminists, must toe this politically correct party line.”

According to Chesler, “the fact that Palestinians torment, torture and murder ‘queer’ Palestinians and that Israel grants them asylum does not matter.”

Israel remains the only place in the Middle East where gays and lesbians can truly enjoy freedom from constant fear of persecution and execution. As Lori wrote last year in a post about Queers Against Israeli Apartheid:

They are embracing a culture that goes against our very core principles as human beings. They are embracing a culture that considers women as chattel and non-human. They want to be “inclusive,” and defend a country that kills people—for being gay.

This worship at the altar of false victimhood and idolization of cultural barbarism is nothing short of obscene.

Slacker In Chief Obama Says You Know What’s Super Boring? Learning and stuff.

So snoozeville! Math is hard and school is boring.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama said Monday that students should take fewer standardized tests and school performance should be measured in other ways. Too much testing makes education boring for kids, he said.

“Too often what we have been doing is using these tests to punish students,” the president told students and parents at a town hall hosted by the Univision Spanish-language television network at Bell Multicultural High School in Washington, D.C.

Tests? Who needs tests? Ensuring that children have actually learned stuff is for reactionary Philistines! Plus, tests are meany pants. They are a punishment, much like babies are.

“One thing I never want to see happen is schools that are just teaching the test because then you’re not learning about the world, you’re not learning about different cultures, you’re not learning about science, you’re not learning about math,” the president said. “All you’re learning about is how to fill out a little bubble on an exam and little tricks that you need to do in order to take a test and that’s not going to make education interesting.”

“And young people do well in stuff that they’re interested in,” Obama said. “They’re not going to do as well if it’s boring.”

Learning Shmearning. Let’s just all be good citizens of the world and stuff. Now excuse me, it’s tee time!

(Obviously, President Obama is not interested in being President. Otherwise, by his own reasoning, he’d actually be good at it instead of an epic fail)

Eventually Chuck Schumer Will Figure Out These Newfangled “Telephone” Contraptions

Um, Senators, ever heard of the mute button?

Possibly unaware that reporters were listening in before a conference call got underway, Chuck Schumer accidentally revealed the Dem strategy to demonize fiscal responsibility.

Mr. Schumer told them to portray John Boehner of Ohio, the Speaker of the House, as painted into a box by the Tea Party, and to decry the spending cuts that he wants as extreme. “I always use the word extreme,” Mr. Schumer said, “That is what the caucus instructed me to use this week.”

A minute or two into the talking-points tutorial, though, someone apparently figured out that reporters were listening, and silence fell.

Oops.

Heel Time With Bill Maher. Again.

Bill Maher is desperately making sure that no one takes away his crown as Most Disgusting Alleged Man on TV, evidently. Not content with calling Sarah Palin a dumb t*at, he had to up the sexist pig ante by hurling the C word.

I knew that word was coming next; it’s a liberal favorite and they are nothing if not predictable.

It’s just too bad that alleged men like this are no longer treated the way the would have been treated in the old school days: with a punch in the face (violent rhetoric, oh no! I’m not much for the “new tone”)

And shunning. He should wear a Scarlet A — for Ass. There is also a C word that describes him: cretin.

In addition to having no heart, the Barefoot Contessa …

has no spine.

Enzo’s family, along with the M.A.W. foundation, had confirmed that Garten declined to grant Enzo’s wish due to scheduling conflicts — TWICE — but now, Garten’s rep says she’s willing to play ball.

The rep insists, “[Ina] looks forward to inviting him to spend some time with her at the Food Network studios.”

C’mon, Ina. If you think a kid with life threatening cancer who worships the ground you walk on isn’t a priority, own it, woman!

And kudos to Food Network chefs Beau MacMillan and Michael Symon for stepping up and offering to cook with 6-year-old Enzo instead.

Greg Gutfeld on ‘Feminists’ and Their Obvious Hypocrisy

On Fox News’ Red Eye, Greg Gutfeld points out the latest example of “the hypocrisy of contemporary feminism.”

Amen, Greg! Also, you are cute as a button.

I only differ with him in that I say “who cares what NOW thinks or says?” We should not care at all. They do not, nor will they ever, speak for women. They are solely a leftist organization, pushing leftist agendas, which are harmful to all women. As I said in the above linked post, women need feminists, including the alleged ones at NOW, like a fish needs a bicycle.
